It was a typical Skye morning when I met the Masseys at their B&B... a large grey cloud loomed dramatically on the horizon, and there was enough of a mist in the air to make the car windscreen damp.
"Are we going to be able to do this?" they asked, worriedly.
"By the time we get ten minutes up the road you're going to see something fantastic," was my answer.
As all Skye-dwellers know, even the most gloomy and wet days have pockets of extraordinary light and awe-inspiring scenery. All you need is a bit of patience and a willing to wear your wellies!
